RECAP:

After seeing Joey Badass and Chuck Strangers last week to catch up when Joey was in town I had discovered after all this time of knowing Chuck that he raps. Not only does he rap, but his music is fucking awesome. The songs he played for Joey and I last week were so good I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about them. After that day Chuck and I decided we’d meet up today and go over his album. I wanted to see where he was at in the process of making the album and find out if there was a way to help work on it. Turns out the plans for it being mixed and mastered are already locked in (very disappointed, I really wanted to work on it with Dominic).

We did however record a quick little 16 bar verse into one of the songs he had. Originally Joey was going to be on the song we recorded today but he wanted to hop on a different track so Chuck filled in the open verse. Very happy to be a tiny part of the album and I’m really looking forward to its release !!
