RECAP:

A quick morning jog in the booth today for my first Bugatti Beez recording session ! Ace (who works with Beez) set up a session for the guys to come in and cut a freestyle. It was my first time meeting Beez, I downloaded the track and played it through a few times then we got right to business! I set Beez up on the AGK 414 and we recorded a few takes as I set levels. We landed on a good sound fairly quickly and it only took him three or four takes to get the performance he wanted.  The rest of the session was spent cleaning up the track and getting it to a nice reference point. Very easy going and easy to work with, I was impressed how effortlessly we just cut that track. Bugatti Beez has an aggressive rap style, lots of words in a short period of time.. Timing was impressively on point and he was able to keep his time through the arrangement changes in the music. Nice morning session that fit in perfectly before Smino and Monte arrived.
